Laura King was in my advanced memoir class at Gotham Writers Workshop several years ago. She continues to work with the memoir genre, but in the meantime, she has published a fabulous cat coloring book in order to raise funds for New York City's feral cats. She also runs Kitt Katt Rescue Harlem. I sat down with Laura and asked her for more information on the project and also what other writing she's been doing.
